This site began its life as the home of information about those rare double bassists in the history of jazz who play the instrument ‘back-to-front’. It has since expanded to include players of all string instruments – but discovering these bassists was the original inspiration for the entire project! Those original bassists have their own page on idiodextrous.com.1
.
