The MA by Research thesis that kickstarted this website was the first contribution[1] to academic literature on idiodexterity and would not have been possible without the help of these generous interviewees. These interviews document and collect fascinating insights that not only illuminate this unusual practice, but that also challenge conventions, raising questions about the ‘normal’ way of doing things.

[1] By beautiful coincidence, idiodextrous electric bassist AJ Macfarlane completed his thesis on ‘upside-down bass guitar technique’ in the same year. Our works were published within less than a week of each other, without any contact between us!
